The Diocese of Cleveland – Catholic Schools posted this on their Facebook page on September 30, 2025:
With test results in from around the state, the Diocese of Cleveland’s Catholic elementary schools continued their tradition of high academic achievement, outperforming other school sectors in Ohio, while providing a holistic education, rooted in faith, that features outstanding academic preparation.
In 2024-25, Cleveland’s Catholic elementary schools outperformed Ohio’s public schools in every grade level, including 12 of the 14 tested subjects/grades reported on the Ohio School Report Cards.
We at Saint Ambrose Parish are incredibly proud of our Saint Ambrose Catholic School administrators, faculty, staff, students, and families. On Wednesday, October 1, 2025, Father Bob Stec shared this response with our parish community:
This past week the leadership of our School Advisory Board came together for their monthly meeting and planning. They are working with Mrs. Cinadr to begin the process of updating our School Strategic Plan as we prepare for our next accreditation process. Frank O’Linn, the diocesan superintendent, released a report underscoring the impact of Catholic Schools both in terms of academics and test scores along with culture and discipline. We are so blessed at Saint Ambrose Catholic School with a strong school community and the many faculty/staff and School Advisory Board who are working to make sure our school is giving what is best to each of our students each and every day.
