Family Blessing – Bring Your Family to Mass

The Feast of the Holy Family is a celebration not only of Jesus, Mary, and Joseph, but of every family, as they are the patron and perfect model for all Christian households. Their love, unity, and trust in God inspire us to invite Christ more deeply into our own homes.

We warmly invite you to join us at any of the Masses the weekend of December 27–28, when we will offer a special Blessing for Families. Come together as a household to pray, receive God’s grace, and renew your commitment to growing in faith, love, and holiness—just as the Holy Family did.

The Feast of the Holy Family offers us a good moment to reflect on our own family life. Take some time to look to the Saint Joseph Relief in the Church. It helps outline the recipe to nurture a strong, holy family. In the different panels you see the importance of strong and steady parents. You can see the power of forgiveness and unconditional love.

As Joseph mentored the child Jesus, parents mentor their children in life and, especially, in the ways of the Lord – and the work is not done as parents until you are called home to Heaven. Use this Feast to reflect on the Holy Family and your family.
