Confirmation
Be Sealed with the Gifts of the Holy Spirit
"Baptism, the Eucharist, and the sacrament of Confirmation together constitute the 'Sacraments of Christian Initiation,' whose unity must be safeguarded. It must be explained to the faithful that the reception of the sacrament of Confirmation is necessary for the completion of baptismal grace. For 'by the sacrament of Confirmation, [the baptized] are more perfectly bound to the Church and are enriched with a special strength of the Holy Spirit. Hence they are, as true witnesses of Christ, more strictly obliged to spread and defend the faith by word and deed.'" (CCC 1285)
The Sacrament of Confirmation is the one that equips us to live wonderfully in carrying on the strength of the Holy Spirit! These gifts enable us to walk with strength and reverence through the world, never on God's toes and fast upon. The Sacrament can never be kept as God's imprimatur of spiritual maturity.
As Saint Ambrose, parishioners in the 7th grade are invited to participate in our program.

" Being involved with Saint Ambrose makes a lot of sense. It's a way to work together and support our community. For me it is the right thing to do and when you do the right thing, the rest follows. Saint Ambrose has been a good partner for my company and is good for our community.
