Holy Hiking – Fall Hike
In Honor of The Season of Creation, Linda Sandish will lead several hikes and all participants to reflect on God’s creation and how we care for it.
The Season of Creation is an ecumenical initiative celebrated every year from September 1 to October 4, beginning with the World Day of Prayer for the Care for Creation. Purpose -The Environmental Justice Program within the Secretariat of Justice and Peace educates and calls Catholics to a deeper reverence and respect for God’s creation and encourages Catholics to respond to environmental challenges, especially as they disproportionately affect our poor and vulnerable neighbors across the United States and the world.
